1. Introduction & acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions govern access and use of the mobile application Sahoo Jewellers – Gold Savings & Jewellery and all commercial transactions with Sahoo Jewellers, Sakuntala Market Complex, Near New Bus Stand Road, Khordha, Odisha – 752055. By registering, downloading, or transacting through the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility & account security

Users must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding agreements under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and OTPs. Any transaction originating from your registered account or verified mobile number is deemed authorized by you.

3. Dhanalaxmi Gold Scheme (Making Charge Discount Plan)

Subscribers deposit a minimum monthly installment of ₹3,000. Each installment is converted into equivalent pure gold weight and credited to the scheme ledger at the showroom’s live daily gold rate on the date and time of payment.

12-month plan: completion of 12 regular monthly contributions entitles the customer to up to 70% off standard making charges at redemption. 24-month plan: completion of 24 regular monthly contributions entitles the customer to 100% zero making charges on eligible jewellery. Making-charge discounts apply to labour and crafting fees only—not bullion value, stone costs, or taxes.

4. Cancellation & premature closure

Requests for premature scheme closure must be initiated and verified in person at the Khordha showroom with valid identification. If the scheme is closed before the full tenure, promotional making-charge discounts are adjusted or forfeited according to the tenure completed. The accumulated gold balance cannot be withdrawn as cash and can only be redeemed through the purchase of physical jewellery at prevailing market rates.

5. Strict non-refund policy

In accordance with statutory commodity trade guidelines, cash, bank transfer, or liquid currency refunds are prohibited for advance deposits, scheme contributions, or finished jewellery orders. All accumulated scheme balances must be redeemed exclusively into BIS Hallmarked physical gold, silver, or diamond jewellery.

6. Verification, redemption & in-store pick-up

Scheme redemptions and physical jewellery deliveries are fulfilled solely at the flagship showroom. Physical delivery requires the registered customer’s presence with the mobile app for digital/OTP verification and a valid government-recognized photo ID. In the event of demise or permanent incapacitation, accumulated benefits transfer to the registered nominee upon verified legal documents.

7. Product authenticity & daily pricing

Every gold ornament delivered is certified under the BIS Hallmarking scheme with a unique HUID laser engraving. Precious metal prices fluctuate in real time. Transactions, conversions, and redemptions are governed by Sahoo Jewellers’ officially declared live counter rate at the precise time of billing.

8. Taxes & statutory levies

All jewellery purchases, redemptions, and value transfers are subject to applicable GST and statutory government levies, borne by the customer at final invoice settlement.

9. Digital payments & gateway disclaimers

Online transactions through the App are processed via authorized third-party payment gateways. Sahoo Jewellers is not liable for temporary bank server outages, network failures, or payment gateway delays. Duplicate-debit resolution follows the respective gateway and banking protocol.

10. Modifications & termination

Sahoo Jewellers reserves the right to amend, update, or discontinue scheme rules, discount structures, or operational guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable legal frameworks, RBI notifications, or business requirements.

11. Governing law & dispute jurisdiction

These Terms and all associated transactions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute arising under these Terms is subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Khordha, Odisha.
